Esko is a former Prime Minister of Finland (1991-1995) and Member of Parliament (1983-2003). He also served as Chair of the Centre Party (1990-2002). After politics, Aho held leadership roles such as President of the Finnish Innovation Fund Sitra, EVP at Nokia Corporation, and Chairman of Cinia Oy. He is currently the CEO of Verbatum. In academia, Aho has been a Fellow at Harvard University, Executive in Residence at Aalto University, and visiting professor at Sciences Po. He is also an accomplished author.
